A great many of us know all too well the horrors of public transportation. In any metropolis on Earth the general public are twice daily subjected to overcrowding, violent jostling,
unpleasant odors and a hundred other little indignities on their way to and back from work. Nowhere is this more true than in Paris.
But happily, occasionally, if one is lucky and aware, they may take a step back from the drudgery of transport and notice a bit of clever design or artful architecture or even
hear a few notes of lovely music. And sometimes that's all it takes to make it through another day in the rat-race.
